dreamy, sleepy // 2002-03-18

sleeeepy. maybe it's the allergy meds? i'm pooped, and i have part one of my pre-calc final tonight. bah. this weekend was wonderful, though. i want to document it all so i don't forget how good it was.

woke up to snow on saturday, though it melted just a quickly as it fell (typical). spent lots of time with c. we watched two woody allen movies ("celebrity" was just okay; "everyone says i love you" is fabulous and beautiful). i wish i could find a good recording of the song that alan alda sings to goldie hawn, "looking at you". went to the temporary seattle public library on saturday afternoon. ooh! it's cool. we looked at the new york times from december 1899 on microfilm. then we found the travel edition of scrabble so we can play in bed. glamorous!

went bowling on saturday night late! i didn't bowl nearly as well as i did before. how can i beat a 161? especially when c said that i needed to beat stephanie's boyfriend, i knew i was done for. i just can't perform under pressure like that. ah well.

we didn't leave c's apartment until 4:00 yesterday. just lolled around, drank tea, read books etc. went for a long, long walk because it was so pretty outside, and then caught the #2 bus downtown when we got too tired to walk further. it's so good to be outside, even when it's cold.
