the good, the bad, and the polyp // 2002-05-02

polyp update: it's shrinking! my doctor stuck something up my nose yesterday to check it out, and sure enough the flonase is working and it's getting smaller. happy, happy day. i also get to slowly wean myself off the allegra. and that's doubly good.

on the darker side of things, i think tonight is the perfect time to start writing that novel about jealousy, as c will be hanging out with the dreaded monica and her pal annika. ugh. i'd like to not care, but that's not working. i'll probably worry about it so much all day that i'll make myself sick by this evening. the only remedy i can think of at the moment is to go out and get snockered, but that seems highly pathetic. i wish i had someone i could hang out with who would make c jealous, but that strategy just seems juvenile. beh.
