a weekend of fire, poo, underwear, condos, movies, and pudding // 2002-05-20

things i did this weekend that i've never done before:

• watched a giant fire completely consume a marina on lake union from across the lake. it was so close i could feel the heat.
• threw out at least a dozen pairs of nasty old underwear. why i didn't do this earlier, i don't know. i feel liberated now--free and unbound!
• pooed at c's apartment. i'm embarrassed that i've never done this before, but i guess i never did it because i was embarrassed. this is a big step in our relationship, though c doesn't even know about it.
• looked at condos in belltown with c because we were bored and thought this would be exciting. it wasn't. we were trapped for hours by snarky sales folk and the condos were tiny, depressing, and shittily constructed. bah. the only enjoyable part was pretending that c and i were looking for a home together (but there's no need for me to go into that, is there?)

things i did that i've done before:

• watched way too many movies (about a boy (so good), cat's meow, wonder boys)
• made curdy lemon pudding and ate it hot out of the oven
• fell asleep on the couch with c watching saturday night live because i'm old and boring and that's just how i like it.
