so terribly wiped out from so much going on this weekend. my kitchen is a signal for how i've been the last four days. dishes piled high on every surface, things molding on the counter, cat food scattered all over the floor. this weekend probably wasn't the best time to give up coffee. no headaches, but i've been so freakin' tired. i've been at work for two hours now, but haven't done anything besides make two cups of tea and blink at the monitor.

this story could be either really long, or really short. obviously, i'll make it short. t'was my 10 year high school reunion this weekend. good friends in town who i saw all weekend. saturday reunion was very bleh. too overwhelming to talk to everyone, so i talked to no one but c (who graciously agreed to brave the event with me, though he knew it would be horrifically boring). we decided that the men are the ones who've changed the most--jaws filled out, facial hair, subtly receding hair lines. all the women looked essentially the same, and the most frequent comment i received was that i hadn't changed a bit. crap! i have bangs now, people. bangs!

the highlight was brunch at jake's parent's house where we drank bloody marys, played dominos, and flipped through our yearbook playing the "who-the-hell-is-that?" game. got my arm twisted last night to go out again, though i was really too tired to do so. i'll see matt and jake and laramie and seth again this week while everyone is still around. and that'll be nice...

p.s. my mum made it to germany just fine and i'm not sure what i was so worried about. i talked to my sister this weekend and heard lil' o gurgling in the background. here's a picture. boy, she's fat!
