let's hear it for second opinions // 2002-07-29

the stupid doctor i saw this morning thinks my horrid stomach pain is... heartburn. (wah wah waaaaah.) i'm in disbelief. i am no large, old, beer-gutted male. i'm 28 years old, i don't drink coffee anymore, i haven't had alcohol in nearly 3 weeks, i don't smoke, i don't eat meat (only fish), and i work out regularly. how could i have hearburn? ugh.

today i simply feel... defeated. i wish i could stay in bed for at least a month. nothing seems to be the way i'd like it. and now i have to go get my prescription filled for zantac, and that fills me with shame.
