pleasant surprise // 2002-10-18

an anonymous hot tipper just emailed telling me that the shirt worn inside out is supposed to bring a pleasant surprise. my question: how long will it take this pleasant surprise to land in my lap? because lord knows it didn't come last night or this morning. unless, of course, you count restless, sweaty sleep riddled by bad dreams, a flailed chemistry quiz, a rushed lab report, unfinished homework, and a completely wonky site at work today. all surprises, but certainly none of them pleasant.

nonetheless, anonymous, i will wait patiently for this pleasant surprise, while i snack on these delicious little lychee gummies (which are definitely pleasant, but not really a surprise since i bought them for myself).
