my super-duper wonderful sweet c got me a surprise today. two surprises! both storey's guide to raising sheep and the sheep book. my dream of having sheep and spinning wool and a little corgi herding the sheep are that much closer. never mind actually having the land to put them on or the time and money to care for them. but the books, at least i have the all-important books.

also of note: farewell, jerry orbach. (or rather, farewell from law & order.) i can't image a law & order without you. but the spirit of lennie briscoe will live on forever...
