dessert porn // 2004-06-07

yesterday i got some weird itch and went into a dessert making frenzy. i made the best coconut cupcakes in the world for a friend's birthday at school, and i also made a cherry clafouti, just because. i've made clafouti years ago, and i remembered it being far less custardy and more cakey. but then i remembered that when i made the one so long ago i was vegan and probably didn't use eggs so how in the world could it have been a custard (meaning, it probably was supposed to be)? once i got over the surprise of it being a custard, i realized it was quite good.

if it was possible to live entirely on desserts, i would, seriously.

and if anyone has any good dessert recipes, let me know. i want to make something special for my last clinic shift of the year (which is next week), and i need some new inspiration.
