what have i been doing?
- taking nine midterms over the last two weeks
- getting sick with the cold that everyone at school seems to have
- getting a questionable mole taken off of my big toe (or, as it's referred to in the medical world, the great toe, which still makes me giggle every time i hear it) and biopsied, which hurt like a motherfucker for several days because stitches were put in, and apparently wounds on toes and extremities in general don't heal very well
- dumping yunnan bai yao (chinese herbs) into my stitched up wound every night and doing moxa over the herb-covered wound ritualistically
- taking antibiotics (cipro, actually, so bring on the anthrax!) and worrying about how it's damaging my spleen qi, and freaking out over getting a yeast infection and guzzling acidophilus to try to prevent it
- going to a party for my stepfather's 40th AA anniversary, which was amazing when i actually stopped to think about it, and inspiring to hear what all his fellow AA'ers had to say about him
- ... and generally feeling lousy and sad.
