you just got effed in the a // 2005-02-20

i wrote this this morning, and then didn't post it in my haste to get to the movie...

i am still in bed. with a headache. c brought me some tea and my laptop, making him the best boy ever. he is now making oatmeal, which makes him even better. today we have plans to see ong-bak, which i'm hoping won't aggravate my headache because i'm very excited about it.

other highlights from the weekend thus far (which isn't nearly over yet--god bless president's day):

• yesterday we played four games of carcassone, and i totally farm served c. yeah, i brought it.
• friday night we saw our pal, kory, dance in this show at on the boards. to be frank, i didn't really care for it much, but it was thrilling to see kory dance, and he did a lovely pas de deux at one point that was very amazing. otherwise... eh.

holy crap, ong-bak was amazing. my headache is gone now. c and i walked around downtown after the movie, ate some lentil soup and pita in the market, bought comics at zanadu, walked around south lake union park, and enjoyed the briskness and the sunshine.
