wow, these photographs are the coolest i've seen in a really long time.

holy cow, did we get a lot done today! we:
- dropped off the deposit for the guy who is fixing c's beautiful danish modern chairs, which we have never been able to sit in... until now!
- got our zone parking permits for our new neighborhood (but not before i got a ticket--ugh)
- drove down to the environmental home center to get more painting supplies
- went to home depot to get the shit that the environmental home center doesn't stock
- dropped off an overdue audio book at the library and c picked up some more hold items he had
- got a loaf of challah and some chocolate babka at leah's bakery (if i could eat only one thing for the rest of my life, this babka might be it)
- came home and tested for lead paint (none inside, but the outside of the houses appears to be constructed entirely of lead), sanded over the spackling we did the other day, and then spent the afternoon and evening painting our bedroom the most gleaming white you've ever seen. i'm especially looking forward the peeling up the nasty brown carpet to uncover the old fir floors underneath. yum.
