a few things:

• acorn squash is delicious and the trimmings make for pretty pictures.
• tonight i discovered that they sell elysian's pumpkin beer at rainbow grocery! it tastes especially delicious when consumed with grilled cheese sandwiches and baked squash.
• i think i'm going to take to referring to wednesday night trash TV (antm and the bachelor) as "my stories". as in, "kids, leave mommy alone while i watch my stories."
